Feel like you’re just wading your way through the suffocating treacle of lockdown?
Well, say hello to this resident of what is easily the strangest sculpture park in all of Ireland – the Hindu-themed Victor’s Way, near Roundwood in County Wicklow.
Described by the owner as “an extreme spiritual adventure park,” it covers 22 acres of woodland and fields filled with dozens of huge, often troubling, granite sculptures.
These original works are said to represent the spiritual progression to enlightenment through “an intense adult-only exploration of self.”
This image ‘Ferryman’s End’ has been described as “a metaphor for the individual who is losing touch with the real world”.
