The town of Drogheda, County Louth, is dotted with historical buildings and landmarks – more than most Irish towns of its size.
This silhouette image of the municipal skyline features two such structures.
In the centre is the Tholsel, constructed in 1770, with its distinctive domed clock tower. To the right is St Peter’s Church of Ireland which dates back to the mid to late 1100s.
This image was shot at dusk on a balmy August evening, evidenced by the warm pastel tones in the sky.
