There are moments when the light on Inishowen Peninsula, at the very tip of County Donegal, can make even the electricity pylons look beautiful.

Of course it helps that there’s also a plentiful supply of subtly undulating mountain slopes in the vicinity. The result is sometimes delightful surprises like this.

Inishowen, for those not familiar with the area, is also the location of the most northerly point in Ireland at Malin Head.
